Heart - Stairway to Heaven - The Kennedy Center Honors 2012 (Led Zeppelin)

On December 26th 2012, Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson of Heart performed Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" at the Kennedy Center Honors. Mr Obama and the the surviving members of Led Zeppelin (John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant) in particular are present in the audience.
The performance began with Ann and Nancy Wilson performing the song with a backing band with, as a drummer, Jason Bonham, the son of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham who passed away in 1980. As the song progressed, back-up singers, a string section, and the Joyce Garrett Youth Choir appeared on stage. Robert Plant, the lead vocalist of Led Zeppelin, was noticeably moved throughout the performance.
This is certainly one of the most beautiful and moving covers of "Stairway to Heaven".
